Some test configuration management actions, such as duplicating test configurations created by other users, require administration permission (see User Administration). Additionally, users with basic permissions can perform management actions on test configurations they own (see About Test Configuration Access).

Click on a test configuration to access its management options.

Duplicating Test Configurations

You can quickly create new test configurations by duplicating and editing an existing configuration. Users with basic permissions can only duplicate the test configurations they own.

  1. Click the duplicate icon.

  2. Enter a name for the duplicate configuration when prompted and click Save.

The duplicate test configuration file is added to DTP and can be distributed to DTP Engines users. See Configuring Test Configurations for information on enabling and disabling rules or changing other configuration properties.

Deleting Test Configurations

Users with basic permissions can only delete the test configurations they own.

  1. Click on a test configuration and click the delete button.

  2. Confirm that you want to delete the test configuration when prompted.

Downloading Test Configurations

Click on a test configuration and click the download button. Downloading a test configuration enables you to make changes in an external editor.
