The Edit tool sends data to an Eclipse editor in the SOAtest and Virtualize environment. It is primarily used to view the output of another tool, such as traffic from a messaging tool or the output of an XML Transformer.
To use Edit, add it as a test or Responder suite output or chain it to the tool whose results you want it to display.
In the Add Output wizard, choose All from the Show menu. The Edit tool is categorized under Common Tools.
