If your team uses AmberPoint Management System, you can export your runtime message sets or runtime validation baselines in the production environment, then provide this information to Parasoft SOAtest in order to create tests that can replay the SOAP messages. You can also establish the captured response messages as the regression control within the generated tests.
To generate tests from an exported AmberPoint baseline or message set, complete the following:
- Choose the Other> AmberPoint Management System option in one of the available test creation wizards. For details on accessing the wizards, see:
- In the AmberPoint Management System wizard page, browse to the location of the Amber-Point File.
- If you would like to create a regression test from the captured response messages, select the Create Regression Controls checkbox.
- Click the Finish button. SOAtest generates a test suite from the exported baseline or message set file. If regression controls were created, a Diff tool is attached to each test.
