Application Coverage provides visibility into the level of code coverage achieved by your SOAtest tests. This helps you gauge the effectiveness of your existing test suite and determine where additional tests need to be added. This coverage is tracked using the Parasoft Coverage Agent (packaged with Parasoft DTP Engines) and shown in Parasoft DTP’s interactive Coverage Explorer.
You can focus on analyzing SOAtest coverage, or you can merge SOAtest’s coverage data with coverage data collected for other types and levels of testing (e.g., manual/exploratory testing, unit testing, etc.) to calculate the total coverage of all your test suites.
