The general Parasoft Plugin and the Jtest Plugin must both be installed. Follow these steps to install the plugins or update them to a later version:

  1. Unpack the installation package in any directory.
  2. Choose File > Settings in the IntelliJ menu bar, then select Plugins.
  3. From the gear menu, choose Install plugins from disk..., then choose parasoft_plugin_<version>_intellij.zip located in <INSTALL_DIR>\integration\intellij and click OK.


  4. From the gear menu, choose Install plugins from disk..., then choose jtest_plugin_<version>_intellij.zip, and click OK.
  5. Restart IntelliJ.
  6. If the plugins have been updated, ensure the path to the Jtest Engine is updated if its location has changed. To do this, go to File > Settings > Parasoft > Engine.
