The Parasoft DTP Plugin and the Parasoft DTP Plugin for Java allow you to work with Parasoft DTP Engines for Java from your IDE. This gives you an interface to perform several functions:

  • Running local code analysis
  • Viewing and interacting with analysis findings
  • Setting test configurations
  • Creating and executing unit tests
  • Collecting test findings and coverage
  • Importing data from DTP server

The Jtest Desktop User Guide covers functions and settings available to Jtest Desktop users. For information about integrating DTP Engines for Java with your build tools and deployment on a server, see the DTP Engines for Java User Guide shipped with the product.

You can use Jtest within Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA and NetBeans IDEs. Except for the installation section, the screenshots in this manual are examples for Eclipse.
