Before migrating from Concerto (4.x) to Development Testing Platform (5.x) or upgrading from a previous version of Development Testing Platform, you should back up your DTP data files, as well as your database to prevent any loss of data.
Data associated with the following components and directories are backed up:
- GRS and DTP DB
- Data Collector files
- Server configuration files
We recommend completing the following steps to ensure that the complete system is backed up properly:
- Perform Data Collector files backup
- Stop DTP Server and Data Collector services
- Back up the database
- Back up server configuration files
