1. Choose User Administration from the settings drop-down menu.

  2. Choose Directories> Add New.
  3. Choose a directory type from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the directory server path.
  5. User and password is optional for directory servers that support anonymous authentication.
  6. Click Advanced Configuration to enable additional configuration parameters that may be required by your LDAP vendor. See Advanced LDAP Configuration.
  7. Click Check Connection. If the connection is unsuccessful, you will need to check that the directory path is correct and an alert will provide guidance that may help you properly configure the directory.
  8. Click Preview Data to preview the data be retrieved from the LDAP server and stored in the user administration database. This function does not persist data and is a useful tool for ensuring that your LDAP configuration functions as expected.
  9. Click Save to create the directory.
