Widgets are Report Center elements that provide concise information about various aspects of your organization’s development processes. If your DTP license includes support for custom widgets, you can easily write custom widgets and make them available to DTP users. Contact your Parasoft representative for information on upgrading your license to include custom widgets (also see Upgrading DTP from Standard to Enterprise Edition).
Widgets are defined in .json metadata files that point to report data. The metadata file enables DTP to automatically generate the configuration UI for the widget. See Widgets for general information about Report Center widgets.
