The supported tools page contains information about the tools which are currently supported by License Server. License Server supports multiple versions of the various tools and can be dynamically updated to support additional tool versions as they are released.
Choose Configuration > Supported Tools to view the tools database.
The tools database contains the tools and versions currently supported by the licenses.
Updating the Tools Database
If you want to use new versions of Parasoft products, your instance of License Server may not support the licenses if it was released prior to the product you are upgrading. Rather than installing an updated version of License Server, you can update the tools database, which enables support for the latest product versions from Parasoft.
- Click Update Tools Database and choose one of the following options:
- Update from remote server: Choose this option to query the license file on Parasoft servers.
- Update from file: Choose this option to browse for the license file sent by your Parasoft representative. Use this option if you are unable to access a server outside of your network.
- Click Confirm.
If the tools database is already is already up to date, you will receive a message informing you of such and confirming that the update is not needed at this time.
