You can specify the .zip or directory that contains static analysis rule documentation. This enables you to point to different sets of rule documentation, such as third-party analyzer rules. The doc.zip file containing the rules included with your Parasoft tool is located in the <INSTALL_DIR>\rules directory.
To specify a rule documentation directory:
Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choose Options.
- Select Configurations.
- Enable the Rule documentation option and browse for the .zip or directory with the rule documentation.
If a directory is chosen, the documentation in the desired language must first be extracted into it.
If a .zip is chosen, the documentation is extracted automatically in language of the tool.
