dotTEST can analyze locally buildable projects that are imported into your IDE. The following IDEs are supported:
- Visual Studio 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017
To work with the Parasoft dotTEST DTP Engine from within your IDE, you need to install both the Parasoft DTP Plugin and the Parasoft DTP Plugin for .NET. Any previous versions of Parasoft testing products should be uninstalled from the IDE before you install the plugins.
The Parasoft dotTEST DTP Engine must be installed to analyze code in the IDE, but it is not required to import and work with findings from the DTP server.
