Adding components to the systems palette makes them available to use in environments associated with the system.

This task requires admin privileges.


  1. Choose Types from the administration (gear icon) menu. 
  2. At the bottom left of the table, click the add icon.
  3. Enter the component name in the dialog that opens. 
  4. (Optional) If you want to edit the component description or image:
    1. Click the link to the added component, then choose Modify from the page-level action menu.
    2. Edit the description and image as desired. 

      If you want to use a custom image for this component, enter the relative path to the 32x32 version of that image. Custom images need to be:
      - Uploaded to the webapps folder where CTP is installed.
      - Provided in two sizes: 32x32 and 64x64.
      - Named using the convention <name>_32.png or <name>_64.png.
  5. Click Save.
