Follow these steps to install the Parasoft Jtest Plugin:

  1. Unpack the installation package in any directory.
  2. Choose Help > Install New Software in the Eclipse menu bar. For older versions of Eclipse, it is recommended that you:
    • Disable the Contact all update sites during install to find required software option to prevent additional updates from being installed with the Parasoft Plugin, or
    • Carefully review the list of Available Software Sites, ensuring that only update sites specific to the selected Eclipse version are enabled.
  3. Click Add.

  4. Click Archive and choose jtest_plugin_<version>_eclipse.zip located in <INSTALL_DIR>\integration\eclipse

  5. Select the Parasoft Jtest plugin and complete the installation process.


    If earlier versions of the plugins are already installed, an update will be performed instead.

  6. Restart Eclipse as prompted.
