The explorer views have flexible filters, groupings, and other elements that enable you to navigate the data in ways that best help you pinpoint and understand the risk associated with the application under development.

Your Custom Views are Preserved in the Violations and Test Explorers

Customizations you make to the search results panel, such as the changing the column order, selections, and grouping, are preserved when you refresh or leave and return to the page. This functionality applies to the Violations and Test explorers.

You can click and drag handles between panels to customize workspaces.

Click on the vertical ellipses menu of a column header to sort data into ascending or descending order.

  • Click on a column header and drag it into the groupings area.
  • Click the close button (X) to remove the parameter from the grouped results.

You can add or remove columns from search results tables (the Violations Explorer shown):

  1. Click on the vertical ellipsis menu of any column header to open the menu.
  2. Choose Columns and enable/disable parameters.

You can change the width of a column a column so that the entire message, file name, or other field is visible by clicking on the margin between two columns headers and dragging it to the desired width.

Each explorer view has a default layout that you can customize by dragging panel anchor points. You can also click on a quick layout button to instantly change to a view optimized for viewing specific aspects of the data.

The Violations and Test Explorers have the same layout options. Click on the Split, Table, or Code and forms icon to change the layout.
