IDE Support

The following IDEs are supported:

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 with Microsoft Visual C++
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 with Microsoft Visual C++^{1, 2}

C++test does not integrate with Visual Studio Express Edition.

¹ The following Visual Studio Workloads are required to be installed with Visual Studio 2017:

• Desktop development with C++
• Universal Windows Platform development or .NET desktop development (see Troubleshooting and FAQs for details)

² Disable project caching in Visual Studio 2017 to ensure that all C++test capabilities are available (see Troubleshooting and FAQs for details).
