What's New

• Perl 5.26 or better is required for installation.
• Added support for the new thread model in GLIBC 2.35.
  • Support for GLIBC less than 2.35 has ended.
  • -pthread is still required when linking to multi-threaded applications.
• If "summarize leaks" is enabled and your application is multi-threaded, you will see memory leaks in the pthread_exit() call chain. These leaks are known by the GLIBC maintainers (see https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33296). You can filter these reports out with the leak_summary_filter option.
• -Zstl, an experimental feature for additional debugging of STL usage, is known to be broken for some compilers in this release.
