Before creating unit tests, ensure that the following prerequisites are met.

Depending on project size and complexity, unit test creation may require additional memory. You can change memory allocation for the JVM process in the <INSTALL_DIR>/etc/jtestcli.jvm configuration file (the -Xmx option).

The "Unit Test Single Class Creation" and a Tier 1-4 license are required to create tests from the CLI.

Ensure that the project configuration is ready for handling unit tests.

Ensure that the dependencies to frameworks required for unit testing are configured. See Configuring the Build System to Include Required Libraries and Supported Frameworks.

Before running unit test creation, Jtest performs diagnostics to validate the project and its configuration. See Running Unit Test Creation.
