You can specify the .zip or directory that contains static analysis rule documentation. This enables you to point to different sets of rule documentation, such as third-party analyzer rules. The doc.zip file containing the rules included with your Parasoft tool is located in the <INSTALL_DIR>\rules directory.

To specify a rule documentation directory:

1. Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choose Preferences (Eclipse) or Settings (IntelliJ).

2. Select Configurations.
3. Enable the Rule documentation option and browse for the .zip or directory with the rule documentation.
   
   

   If a directory is chosen, the documentation in the desired language must first be extracted into it. If a .zip is chosen, the documentation is extracted automatically in language of the tool.
