Exporting Preferences

You can export the configured settings to a .properties file.

1. Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choosePreferences (Eclipse) or Settings (IntelliJ) to open the general settings dialog.

2. Click the share link and choose a location for the .properties file.

   

3. Enter a name for the file in the File name field and click Save to finish exporting the file. 

Importing Preferences

You can import settings from a .properties file on your local machine or from a URL.

1. Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choosePreferences (Eclipse) or Settings (IntelliJ). to open the general settings dialog.

2. Click the import link.

   

3. Specify either the path to the settings file or the URL of a location from which you want to import the preferences. Specify the categories of preferences you want to import. 
   Note: The file protocol is supported, for example:

   file:/C:/Users/user1/Documents/jtest.properties

   The use of a proxy is supported.
4. Click OK.
