You can connect Virtualize/SOAtest servers to CTP in the following ways:

Registering a Server from CTP  

If you have administrator permissions to manage the CTP installation, you can register SOAtest and Virtualize servers from the Virtualize Servers screen.

1. Choose the Virtualize Servers tab and click the + button to add a new row to the table.
   
2. Specify an identifier, IP address or hostname, port number, and credentials the server may require to access CTP when prompted.
   
3. Click OK to finish registering the server.

To deregister a server, choose a row in the table and click the trash icon.

Registering a Server from the Desktop

If you are using the server shipped with SOAtest or Virtualize, you can register the server from the Parasoft Preferences screen. See Integrating Virtualize Server and/or SOAtest Server with CTP for additional information.

Registering a Web Archive Server 

If you are using the soavirt.war distribution of the SOAtest and Virtualize server, configure the following settings in the config.properties file as described in Server Configuration:

• env.manager.server=http\://<CTP_HOST>\:<PORT> 
• env.manager.server.name=<NAME_OF_SOAVIRT_SERVER> 
• env.manager.username=<USERNAME_FOR_CTP_AUTH> 
• env.manager.password=<PASSWORD_FOR_CTP_AUTH>
