Enable monitoring on components in your environment to log traffic events associated with the component, even if the Virtualize server is configured to monitor the asset. You can enable monitoring from several interfaces across CTP. You can enable monitoring from the following places in Environment Manager.

Workspace Tab

You can enable and disable monitoring for a component instance directly on the workspace.

Choose an environment from the workspace sidebar and click on the component.
Click Start Monitoring.

The button will turn into a Stop Monitoring icon that you can click to disable monitoring on the asset.

Diagram Edit Mode

Open an environment diagram and click Edit.
Click the menu in the upper-right corner of the desired component and choose Start Monitoring.

Click the menu again and choose Stop Monitoring to disable monitoring.

Events Tab

Click the Events tab and click the monitoring icon next to the component you want to start monitoring.

Click the icon again to disable monitoring.
