This topic introduces the Aggregate tool, which allows you to create a single tool that runs a user-defined collection of tools.

Understanding the Aggregate Tool

The Aggregate Tool allows you to apply a custom set of tools (including External Tools and Extension/Custom Script tools) with a single click or command. It can aggregate any tools that are available as global test suite tools (see Global Tools).

Configuring the Aggregate Tool

To configure an Aggregate tool:

1. Double-click the tool node.
2. Assign your tool a name in the Name field in the right GUI panel.
3. Check the check boxes that represent the tools you want the Aggregate tool to run.
