In addition to traditional time-based approaches to displaying trend data, DTP also tracks code changes based on builds, which provides insight into the evolution of the application in increments that align with how software is released. See Build ID for additional information about builds and how they are tagged in DTP.
There are three components associated with administrating builds in DTP:
- Build Administration page: You can view test and analysis information associated with specific builds, baseline (lock) specific builds, and delete builds from this page. See Using Build Administration for details.
- Build Administration - Statistics: This widget provides at-a-glance information about builds in DTP. See Build Administration - Statistics for additional information.
- Compliance Report: This report shows all artifacts associated with a baselined build, such as environment attributes, test configuration used, and test results, so that you can understand how well the build is tested. See Build Audit Report for details.
