Here are the known limitations of Parasoft C/C++test:
- On Windows, C/C++test Plugin for Visual Studio may fail to start if C/C++test distribution file was unpacked with Windows Explorer. You may need to use another tool to unpack the distribution or edit the
<VSTUDIO_INSTALL>\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe.configfile and add the following configuration entry to the <runtime> section:
- On Linux, collecting build data with the
-traceoption) requires C/C++test to be installed in a directory without spaces in its name.
- On Windows, executing
cpptestcliin a directory with more than 150 characters in its name (total path length) may cause issues. You may need to use the
-workspaceoption to move workspace directory (.cpptest) to another location (with shorter path).
