In order to use an Oracle database, download the appropriate ojdbc jar for your Oracle version separately (from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/jdbc/index-091264.html) and add it to the Tomcat webapps/em/WEB-INF/lib folder.

Before using CTP, you must follow the procedure described in Setting up the Database MySQL Oracle.

Oracle RAC Fast Application Notification (FAN) events for Fast Connection Failover is supported so long as the Oracle database connection is configured using a JDBC URL. In addition, you will need to supply the following three jars and all three must be from the same version and provider source.

It is assumed that Oracle server is already installed and is properly administered.
