Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I suppressed a violation on a given line. The code on that line was modified. The suppression no longer seems to work.  Is this expected?

A: Yes, this is expected. If the meaningful content of the line changes, Parasoft tools and DTP identify the violation on that line as a different violation. Therefore, the suppression for the original violation no longer applies on the new violation.
