dotTEST can analyze locally buildable projects that are imported into your IDE. The following IDEs are supported:

  • Visual Studio 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017

Parasoft IDE Plugins

To integrate Parasoft dotTEST with To work with the Parasoft dotTEST from within your IDE, you need to install both two plugins that are shipped with the product: the Parasoft Plugin and thedotTESTPlugin the dotTEST Plugin for your IDE. Both plugins are required to work with dotTEST from within your IDE.

The Parasoft dotTEST Engine Parasoft dotTEST  Engine is not required to import and work with findings from the DTP server, but it must be installed to analyze code in the IDE (see Prerequisites for information about the requirements).
