Objective

Generate HTML reports that provide coding standard analysis results to developers and group leads.

C++test can generate HTML, PDF, or custom format reports and charts that contain all relevant results from the test cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, and coverage statistics. This is an efficient way to publish and distribute test results to the full development team, management, and Quality Assurance testers for review and analysis.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Test Progress and summary tab (Parasoft’s Recommended Rules in this example) and click the Generate Report button in the toolbar.



    • Click the pull-down menu in the top

      of the Quality Tasks toolbar and select Report.

  2. In the Report dialog, click Preferences and select your desired report parameters
  3. Click Apply and OK to close the Preferences panel.
  4. Click OK in the Report dialog. C++test will then open a report in the specified format, with the specified contents.
