You can perform analysis with a selected test configuration directly from the Configurations preference page. This allows you to quickly run a number of configurations, for example, to compare the findings that are reported when each configuration is run.

  1. Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choose

Preferences (Eclipse), Options (NetBeans) or Settings (IntelliJ).

    Then select Configuration.

  2. Right-click the test configuration and select Run.

However, if you analyze code consecutively with the same test configuration, we recommend that you set the Active test configuration as part of your regular workflow. The configuration set as Active is accessible directly from the Parasoft menu, as well as the toolbar:

To set the Active test configuration:

  1. Click Parasoft in the menu bar and choose

Preferences (Eclipse), Options (NetBeans) or Settings (IntelliJ).

    Then select Configuration.

  2. Right-click the test configuration you want to set as active, then choose Select as Active.

The new configuration appears as a link in the Active field. You can click this link to view the configuration in its containing directory.
