  1. Open the User Administration screen, then go to Users and click Add User.
  2. Enter the new user’s information (username and password are required) when prompted. Note that there are character limits for the following fields:

    • Username: 36 characters
    • First Name: 49 characters
    • Last Name: 81 characters
    • Email: 256 characters

  3. Click Create to add the user to the database.

By default, usernames are case sensitive (for example, "JohnSmith", "johnSmith", and "johnsmith" are all different users). You can change user login case sensitivity by setting the <case-sensitive> property in the PSTRootConfig.xml configuration file to false and restarting the License Server. The file is located in the <LSS_DATA>/conf/ directory. Note: if you are using the WAR deployment on a custom Tomcat server, the file is located in the <TOMCAT>/webapps/pstsec/conf directory and you need to restart Tomcat instead.PSTRootConfig.xml configuration file to false and restarting DTP. The file is located in the <DTP_DATA>/conf/ directory.
