Configuring a login policy enables you to control how User Administration responds to failed login attempts.
To access the Login Policy configuration screen, choose User Administration from the settings (gear icon) menu and click Login Policy in the Settings sidebar.

Maximum login failures | This setting determines the number of failed login attempts a user can make with the timeframe specified in the Failure persistence duration setting before being locked out. |
Failure persistence duration (seconds) | This settings setting determines the timeframe in which a user can unsuccessfully attempt to login per the before being locked out. The number of times specified in the Maximum login failures setting the user can attempt to login during this timeframe before being locked out is determined by the Maximum login failures setting.
