Connecting to DTP also enables you to automatically send reports to the Report Center quality analytics module, where you can review testing data within the context of all your quality activities. It correlates data sent from Parasoft SOtest to other quality and compliance data, providing visibility and control into the software development process and the products it is delivering.
You should connect all desktop installations to DTP if your team intends to use DTP to share settings across products and view test and analysis data. At least one installation of Parasoft SOAtest, typically the designated server that runs nightly tests, should be connected with reporting enabled.

You can configure the following settings.

- Click Configure to open the Project drop-down menu and select your current project. The menu will be populated with the projects you have access to if your DTP connection is configured correctly. Contact your DTP administrator if your project is not available.
Click Next and specify the settings you want to automatically configure based on the preferences stored in DTP DTP (see Configuring Preferences Overview). Settings you enable in this panel will automatically be updated when the settings are updated in DTP. See the DTP documentation for configuring project settings.
